The New England Soap Company grew out of a simple idea: That care matters, and that everyday objects can help us practice it.
I’m Robin, the founder behind the brand. I started making soap years ago for my own skin and as gifts for the people I love - and what began as a hobby has grown into a thriving business.
I love creating nourishing, handcrafted body products and also being able to tell the story of New England, where I was born and raised - it’s rugged landscape, unique culture and long history.
Today, The New England Soap Company creates regionally inspired soaps and bath products designed to support small, everyday acts of care. Each product is thoughtfully formulated and created by hand to be inviting and intentional - good for your skin, beautiful to use, and easy to give.
Care doesn’t stop at the product: It’s just as important to us to build relationships with our customers and our community. We love interacting with customers at our markets and online - please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
We also donate both product and proceeds to our neighbors - we are lucky to live in a small, tight-knit community, and giving back is a core part of our business practice.
And at its heart, caring for ourselves, one another, and the place we belong is what this business is about.
